Eligibility Criteria for KWI International Fellowships 2026
To be eligible for the KWI Fellowship in Germany, applicants must:
- Hold a PhD with up to 6 years of postdoctoral experience
- Submit a research proposal relevant to KWI’s core themes
- Be capable of building partnerships within the Ruhr Alliance
- Attend KWI in person at least three days per week
- Engage actively in institute events and contribute to the KWI Blog
- Conduct entry and exit interviews during the fellowship period
There is no teaching requirement, but fellows may attend seminars or lectures at local universities.
